Did a video on Zelda Dungeon bringing up an idea for a compromise with the controls so it can still have motion controls like Skyward Sword’s but also be accessible for those who don’t like them. Check it out here.
So on Friday I mentioned in this post that I had a 3DS Mii I made of Jolene from Phantom Hourglass, and I promised in the comments that I’d post it. I thought I could also post some of the other Miis I made from Zelda. I have a total of 6 Miis based on characters from Phantom Hourglass (and Zelda from Spirit Tracks).
The characters are: Linebeck, Jolene, Oshus, Toon Link, Toon Zelda, and Orange Chu. I know, technically there’s no orange Chuchu. Continue reading to check them out. Continue reading
Posted another new Strange Talk video on my channel a few hours ago (and you should expect another E3-related video tomorrow as well). This one’s about Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and basically goes over my initial negative thoughts about the game from several months back as well as my new excitement about it. You can watch it here or continue reading to check out the video embed. Continue reading
Did a new video discussion on Zelda Dungeon about Battle Quest, giving my thoughts and first impressions of the game. Check it out here.
New Strange Talk video. These are my impressions (almost entirely positive) about Nintendo’s showing at E3 2012. This is obviously mostly about the Wii U. Link is here or you can continue reading to view the video embed. Continue reading
I don’t know exactly what this is. It’s a weird post. Basically I just want to reiterate and make a point out of something I said in my article today on Zelda Dungeon: Jolene is really hot. But only in the manga. In the game she just looks… really really weird, mostly because her face is stylized (although ironically I made a Mii out of her on my 3DS… I might post it sometime if anyone’s interested).
People talk about pretty or sexy characters in Zelda all the time — male and female — but I think Jolene from the manga is one that never gets talked about, yet she’s so cute!
I know, I’m obsessive and male. Shut up. Here’s some more pictures of here:
Something I wanted to talk about a little is, well, what the title implies (if you can read internet speak, that is… maybe I should avoid using that in my titles): People with differing opinions a subject, but more specifically people who project their opinion as solid fact.
As you’re probably aware since most of my current viewer base comes from Zelda Dungeon, I published a new article over there today called Top 16 Most Annoying Zelda Characters. I excluded some fan favorites for the title, like Navi or Tingle, and included a lot of ones that a lot of people wouldn’t have seen coming. But I wasn’t trolling; The list was composed of my honest opinions and personal annoyances from the series.
Wrote a new article for Zelda Dungeon, in my humorous list style: Top 16 Most Annoying Zelda Characters
You might have seen me bring this up on my personal Twitter and on Facebook, but I’ve recently resumed activity on my previously very inactive Ghirahim character Twitter feed, @Lord_Ghirahim. On this feed I basically tweeted 100% in-character as if I was Ghirahim, making general statements and updates while replying to people who talk to “Ghirahim”.
I also recently just started up a new character Twitter feed, Amon from Legend of Korra (@Leader_Amon). Both of these feeds should be pretty active from here on out. So check them both out!
Okay, after problems getting mailbags up the previous two weeks, finally got a new mailbag. Mailbag #088 covers a lot of questions about future Zelda games (including E3-related ones), and the rest are spread out over the rest of the games in the series. You can watch it here.
